Event and Staff Guidelines

Be FRIENDLY, UPBEAT, OUTGOING, KNOWLEDGABLE OF YOUR BUSINESS, and PRESENTABLE.


STAFF SHOULD:

  • Always come to work on time or before
  • Must wear company mandated clothing
  • Must be clean and presentable at all times
  • No cell phone use while on clock
  • Must be pleasant and engage customers
  • Must be knowledgeable and fluent in all activities, programs, upcoming events and procedures
  • Must report any issues immediately to management
  • Must not come to work sick
  • Must give ample warning when a shift is to be missed
  • Must always represent your business in a positive manner
  • Cannot work for any customers as child care representative (huge liability issues)

Preparing to come to work:

  1. Look over work order for event details (acknowledge receipt)
  2. Being properly prepared (supplies, costumes, etc…)
  3. Attire – dressing appropriately
  4. Demeanor – general attitude, leaving personal issues at home

WORKING EVENTS:

  1. Be helpful and tell the client your name when you arrive
  2. SETTING UP PARTIES
    1. Delegate tasks upon arrival
      1. Balloons
      2. Craft Tables and kids tables
      3. General set-up & decor, etc….
    2. DURING PARTY
      1. Be helpful and courteous to guests
      2. ALWAYS stay in character and wear a smile 🙂
      3. Adhere to Safety procedures with guests
      4. Be Mindful on the time
  3. BREAKING DOWN PARTIES
    1. Packing up boxes and equipment
    2. Breaking down of tables and chairs
  4. Reporting time worked – clocking in and out
    1. If Applicable, Fill out time sheets
    2. Install Time Station App (T-Sheets) on your phone
    3. Know your passcode for logging in without time card
